Chip boards

Fireretardand chip board - Antivlam Class 0

Chipboard with the fire retardant characteristics of Antivlam®, combined with the properties of a moisture-resistant P5 board.

High-density chipboard with sanded, fine surface and particularly screwable core, MUF glued. The board is subject to minimal expansion and swelling in conditions of high humidity. Suitable for load-bearing applications in humid conditions, it can be refined with paper, melamine, veneer or laminate. The board is easy to mill and has low formaldehyde emission (E1 class). The board is heat- and fire-resistant and used in particular in public buildings such as hospitals, airports, rest homes, theatres, hotels, etc. Hidroflam® withstands extreme heat and fire, does not contribute to flame spread and has a smoke development comparable to that of natural wood.

The board can be applied in service class 2 (restrictions in temperature and ambient humidity) and can only be used in biological hazard classes 1 and 2 of EN 335-3.

Thickness: 10 to 22 mm. Width and length: 2440 - 2620 to 6300 length. Spano has high-capacity saws that support all sawing dimensions. In principle, all thicknesses and lengths/widths are available within the press capabilities. Contact is for any inquiries.

Moisture resistant chipboard - Durelis Floor

High-density chipboard with special oblique tongue profile, on two or four sides. The tongue profile ensures high stability and easy installation and allows blind nailing or screwing of the panels.

Durélis/Populair® Floor has high rigidity and a hard, unsanded surface. This provides Durélis/Populair® Floor with great impact resistance. The hard, highly closed surface greatly facilitates cleaning of the floor.

Durélis/Populair® Floor is produced with a melamine glue, allowing the board not only to preserve its basic strength but also to minimise swelling and linear dimensional change, even in highly humid conditions.

The board can be applied in service class 1 or 2 (restrictions in temperature and ambient humidity) and can only be used in biological hazard classes 1 and 2 of EN 335-3 (see product sheet of board types).

Special dimensions are possible: contact us for any inquiries.
