Veneered plates

Veneered boards from Decospan

Wood veneer is thin slices of wood, usually between 0.5 to 2mm, which you can glue onto core panels. It can be used for almost everything such as furniture, wallpaper, floors etc. Our veneers come from Decospan, a trendsetter in the market thanks to their innovative processes. They are known for their huge product line, flexibility in production and short delivery times.

Qualities

Decospan delivers veneers in six qualities. Architectural/A Extra is used for very demanding projects. Exceptionally pure trunks. (< 1% of trunk can be used for this quality). Architectural/A+ is very high quality, low wood characteristics. Is used for special projects where panels are being numbered (about 5% of all trunks). Classic/A is high quality, the wood characteristics are inconspicuously present in small quantity. (about 20% of all trunks). Commercial/B+ is medium quality, wood characteristics are present, more oblivious and larger than with A quality. Natural/B is used for the back of the panels. Shows a large variety in natural characteristics en colour differences or could be a composed sheet. C quality Almost every difference in colour of natural characteristic is allowed. Technical defaults are also allowed.

Shinnoki

Shinnoki is a range of ready to use veneered panels for the building and interior industry. No further finish is required for these panels. We can veneer the MDF baseboard with a light or dark melamine backing, or we can veneer the panel on both sides (see table). The choice is yours. The ultra-matt PU 'gloss 10' finish provides a natural look, whereby the porous texture of the wood is maintained.

The SHINNOKI veneered wood panels are in stock and can be delivered within a very short lead-time. The sixteen SHINNOKI tints are also available in separate sheets (3 ply) and in matching edge banding with a thickness measuring 0.6 mm and 1.5 mm and a height measuring 24 mm and 44 mm.

Using the mix-match technique, a continuous surface is achieved without optical breaks. This is achieved by combining the veneered wood from different trees with varying cutting lines. The result is a more uniform quality without losing the animated aspect of the wood. Contemporary but timeless...
